About the role
- DevOps Engineer focusing on client requirements and cloud architecture. Engaging in migrations and advising on complex data infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Gather customer requirements and develop suitable system architectures on AWS or other infrastructure providers
- Support the transformation and migration process of existing on-premises applications to cloud platforms
- Advise clients on the design and development of complex business intelligence architectures and data infrastructures, and on selecting optimal technologies and products
Requirements
- Degree in information technology (university or university of applied sciences) or comparable qualification
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud systems such as AWS, Azure, GCP or comparable solutions, and approximately 3 years of experience in IT operations and architecture
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation) and automated deployment (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
- Familiarity with networking concepts at the network level, including DNS, routing, VPNs, virtual networks, and IP addressing
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux is a plus
- Experience with applications such as Tableau Server, Active Directory, Keycloak, or OpenLDAP is a plus
- Broad knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL, IT security, automation, deployment, system migrations, IT networking, and infrastructure
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Icinga, PRTG, Nagios, Spiceworks, Zabbix, or AWS CloudWatch
