About the role

  • Data Scientist managing end-to-end data processes at LYNX to uncover insights for financial challenges. Creating solutions and communicating complex ideas to varied stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process of data-driven knowledge gathering (connect, mine, simulate, predict, visualize, and deploy)
  • Develop data-driven solutions to address complex business challenges
  • Translate business requirements into hypotheses and lead advanced analytical projects; perform ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions
  • Design, train, deploy, and monitor predictive algorithms
  • Proactively communicate findings and explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with structured and unstructured data (you are a natural problem solver)
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL (able to write advanced queries with ease)
  • Self-driven and proactive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (able to explain complex ideas in simple terms)
  • Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of financial markets and financial products (options, futures, etc.)
