About the role
- Lead Research Analyst role in LSEG’s Due Diligence team focusing on Japanese language research and reporting. Contribute to risk management by analysing data integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in Japanese and English languages
- Investigate official sources (registrars, regulators, courts, etc.) for information on companies and individuals
- Analyse the collected information regarding risk factors
- Prepare comprehensive reports in English adhering to internal methodologies
- Liaise with third-party local partners
- Document policies, procedures and work processes
- Adhere to current data policies and procedures
Requirements
- Good written English
- Native-level or full professional proficiency in Japanese
- Strong research skills, including online search tools

- Work experience in due diligence, KYC or compliance is desirable
