About the role

  • Onsite Event Sourcing Manager optimizing event spaces and ensuring successful event planning for Maritz. Collaborating with event managers to handle space assignments and workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the event request queue daily and review all incoming requests.
  • Assign appropriate onsite meeting/event space and route each event to the correct Event Manager.
  • Update internal calendars and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date communication in all applicable systems.
  • Document event changes, conversations, and approvals with Event Hosts, Event Team Leads, and Event Managers.
  • Collect all required information to support event approval processes and track assignments accurately.
  • Audit assigned event space and correlated calendars to ensure alignment.
  • Support the Operations Manager with various assigned projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in event/meeting planning or hotel sales/service
  • Strong understanding of event planning workflows and space optimization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client‑service mindset
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and handle multiple demands
  • Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new technology quickly.
