Responsibilities
Achieving stated monthly sales goals by meeting with clients and potential clients to identify financial needs and offer appropriate investment products.
Develop sales through prospecting, referrals, and marketing programs.
Actively prospects the credit union membership for potential clients.
Develops member leads through marketing and referral programs for sales staff.
Complies with all regulatory FINRA and State Insurance laws and regulations.
Processes new account applications.
Coordinates and presents financial information seminars at the credit union or other locations.
Cross-sells products and services offered at the credit union.
Generates a minimum of $20,000 gross commissions monthly or a specified assigned goal.
Ensures risk profiles, goals, objectives and asset allocations are aligned and reflected properly for each client.
Delivers full range of investment products and services ensuring alignment to client goals and strategies while leveraging specialists and applicable investment management tools where appropriate.
Requirements
4 Year / Bachelors Degree Bachelors degree preferred.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the securities industry and at least three years recent sales experience offering mutual funds, annuities, and insurance products.
Must also have a thorough knowledge of financial markets as it relates to securities and insurance sales and marketing and the ability to collect and analyze data and analyze periodic financial and insurance-related products.
California Life Only Insurance agent's and variable contract licenses are required.
NASD series 7, 63, 65 and/or 66 licenses are required.
Will consider series 6 and 63 individual with extensive experience.
Advanced industry accreditation such as a CFP, CRPC or AAMS required.
Qualified candidates without credentials must be able to obtain them within six (6) months of hire.
Should have working experience using Microsoft Office suite of products.
