About the role
- Service Delivery Engineer managing Oracle Managed Services databases at Logicalis. Ensuring database solutions and operational support within a team on global projects.
Responsibilities
- Planning, provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning and maintenance of Oracle databases
- Selecting, developing, testing and maintaining tools to control and manage databases
- Programming batch jobs and run scripts to automate production processes
- Identifying optimization potential within the stated responsibilities and developing and implementing corresponding concepts
- Performing space management, analysis and reorganization of databases
- Ensuring third-party support for deployed databases
Requirements
- Specialization and several years of demonstrable professional experience in the stated area, particularly in Oracle environments (high availability and disaster recovery)
- Many years’ experience operating Oracle Engineered Systems is a plus
- Sense of responsibility, reliability and strong team skills
- Good knowledge of Unix scripting languages
- Strong customer orientation, motivation, flexibility and resilience
- Fluent German and English skills
