About the role
- Program Manager overseeing DLA Enterprise Infrastructure Services for Connected Logistics. Leading IT projects and managing contract support operations across multiple DLA locations.
Responsibilities
- Leads projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals
- Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations
- Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities
- Communicates daily with DLA Project Managers (PM) and Points of Contacts (POC)
- Manages project schedules and resources to ensure deliverables meet government deadlines
- Resolves all issues/problems, allocates resources, manages project personnel and project operations and performance
- Develops and maintains an Integrated Master Project Schedule for all DLA LAN projects
- Prepares and provides reports on a weekly basis: Activity Report, Integrated Master Project Schedule and Financial Status
- Develops and presents In-Process Review (IPR) slides on a quarterly basis, or as requested, for all open projects to the DLA LAN contract
Requirements
- BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience
- Sensitivity Level: IT-II / SECRET Clearance
- PMP or equivalent certification
- 10 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields
- 5 years of experience in program management
- Experience with the Information Technology Acquisition process and its milestones
- Experience in analyzing a variety of source documentation and supporting the creation of acquisition documentation.
