About the role

  • Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS architecture, implementing IaC and supporting multicloud strategies. Collaborating on CI/CD practices and mentoring within the Cloud team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical reference for Cloud architecture, with a focus on AWS.
  • Implement and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/AWS AFT.
  • Support a multicloud strategy (Azure and GCP as differentiators).
  • Ensure software lifecycle best practices, with emphasis on Kubernetes, containers, and serverless.
  • Lead CI/CD and GitOps practices in critical, high-availability environments.
  • Develop scripts and automation using Python and Bash.
  • Work on observability and monitoring (Datadog is a plus, alongside Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix).
  • Provide technical mentorship and support talent development within the Cloud team.
  • Lead and participate in technical forums, promoting architecture best practices.
  • Collaborate and influence Security, Networking, Access Management/IAM, and FinOps backlogs to ensure architectural alignment and strategic prioritization.
  • Support the innovation agenda by proposing new solutions and approaches.

Requirements

  • AWS foundational certifications (at least one of the following):
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02)
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03)
  • AWS Developer – Associate (DVA-C02)
  • AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate (SOA-C02)
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
  • Proficiency in Terraform (AFT) and IaC practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps.
  • Practical experience with Linux and Windows Server.
  • Programming/scripting in Python and Bash.
  • Experience with containers and serverless architectures.
  • Clear understanding of end-to-end cloud operations.
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
  • Experience with Azure and GCP.
  • Experience with Datadog in complex environments.
  • Ability to effectively use AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, and other generative AI integrated into the development and operations lifecycle.
