About the role

  • Technical lead defining and evolving product architectures in an innovative environment at Livelo, focusing on scalability and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the tribe's reference architectures (Solution and Application);
  • Ensure adherence to architectural standards, technical guidelines, ADRs, patterns and antipatterns;
  • Lead initiatives for platformization, modularization and product scalability;
  • Support strategic decisions on build vs. buy, integrations and technology selection;
  • Anticipate technical and systemic risks and propose structural solutions;
  • Ensure efficient and secure integration across squads, products and external partners;
  • Design event-driven solutions, APIs and high-scale integrations;
  • Ensure platform resilience, observability and reliability;
  • Act as a technical reference for Tech Leads and Engineers;
  • Influence decisions beyond your squad, impacting the entire tribe;
  • Facilitate technical alignment between product, engineering and business stakeholders;
  • Exercise informal leadership, promoting autonomy with technical consistency;
  • Mentor Tech Leads and senior engineers;
  • Support technical growth, career planning and successor development;
  • Consistently raise the tribe's technical maturity;
  • Identify, prioritize and ensure treatment of structural technical debt;
  • Provide visibility of the tribe's technological health to GPMs and Tech Managers;
  • Act as co-responsible for the technical quality of deliveries;
  • Work with technical indicators and track progress over time;
  • Work several sprints ahead, influencing future decisions;
  • Ensure that present decisions do not create unsustainable debt;
  • Connect the technology roadmap with the business's strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields;
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead and/or Architect;
  • Proficiency in multiple languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, Python) and frameworks;
  • Software Architecture (Solution, Application and reference architectures);
  • Strategic and tactical Domain-Driven Design (DDD);
  • Distributed and event-driven systems;
  • APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL);
  • Cloud (AWS), Kubernetes, infrastructure and networking;
  • Security (OAuth2, authentication, authorization, encryption);
  • Observability (SRE, SLIs, SLOs, DORA metrics);
  • Software quality, testing and automation;
  • Experience with B2B integration and complex ecosystems is a strong differentiator.
