- Industrial Controls Engineer specializing in PLC and HMI programming for custom machinery projects at Lincoln Electric. Ensuring optimal machine performance and supporting system installations.
Responsibilities
- Design and program PLC logic for custom machinery (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Develop HMI interfaces for operator interaction.
- Test and debug source code for PC base industrial control systems.
- Test and debug control programs to ensure reliability.
- Test and debug motion control systems, sensors, and safety devices.
- Support on-site installation and commissioning of programmed systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues during build and post-installation phases.
- Maintain software documentation and version control.
- Coordinate with contractors during installation for programming adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in PLC and HMI programming.
- Experience in Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View, or Siemens TIA Portal.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNET).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
