Responsibilities
Develop and maintain server applications using Spring Boot and Ktor
Implement server-side rendering with modern templating engines (e.g., Thymeleaf, Freemarker, kotlinx.html, JTE)
Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services
Database integration and optimization
Monitoring and performance analysis using appropriate tools
Integrate HTMX or Datastar for reactive user interfaces
Develop interactive web components
Evolve existing applications built with Angular and SolidJS
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality
Collaborate with design and product teams
Document architectures and APIs
Requirements
Experience in full-stack development — from web frontend to server-side logic
Solid understanding of web standards (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and database connectivity
Practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Structured, testable, and well-documented work practices are natural for you
Team player: open in communication, solution-oriented in discussions — not someone who needs to stand out alone
Very good English skills, spoken and written. Good German is a plus but not required.
