About the role

  • Staff Fullstack Software Engineer building a new Safety SaaS frontend using modern frameworks. Collaborating on critical roadmaps and owning code quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Safety SaaS frontend using React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
  • Co-design and maintain the design system
  • Implement state management, server state, forms, and i18n
  • Build a custom video player and handle video streaming requirements
  • Ship the UK videoverbalization MVP in production by end of June 2026
  • Contribute directly to the France rollout and live videoverbalization
  • Maintain unit test coverage above 85%
  • Set up and maintain end-to-end tests
  • Document conventions, contribution rules, and architectural decisions
  • Onboard the 1-2 engineers joining in 2027

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS or scale-up environment
  • Expert in modern React and its ecosystem: Zustand, TanStack Query, React Hook Form, advanced hooks, performance patterns
  • Shipped a scalable frontend architecture before: design system, component library, reusability patterns
  • Solid Node.js / TypeScript fundamentals
  • Actively use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
  • Engineering degree is required
