Responsibilities
Define and structure the PLA architecture (APIs, data, internal integrations) to support the end-to-end product lifecycle.
Automate the provisioning and fleet management of IoT devices (Salt + internal systems) to ensure robust, reproducible hardware onboarding.
Develop and maintain backend systems (REST APIs, internal services, data pipelines) at the core of PLA orchestration.
Design the internal back office to cover all operational use cases (configuration, monitoring, diagnostics).
Build the installer app to enable simple, documented, and reliable field deployments.
Collaborate with IoT, Operations, Hardware, Data and SaaS teams to align architecture, tools and field constraints.
Requirements
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Excellent command of a modern full-stack stack, including a solid backend (TypeScript/Node.js, Python or equivalent) and strong front-end development skills in React.
Strong experience in architecture design (APIs, data models, system integrations).
Proven skills in developing REST APIs and designing back-ends focused on performance and reliability.
Interest in hardware/IoT products: provisioning, configuration, device management, system interactions, field constraints.
Practical experience with Salt (or equivalent) for fleet management.
Understanding of operational workflows, maintenance challenges and field requirements.
Proficiency or strong interest in CI/CD, observability, monitoring and internal integrations.
