Responsibilities
- Manage multiple branches and supervise production personnel and their workflow
- Ensure high morale, excellent customer service, and maximum volume and profits
- Lead, manage and direct day-to-day operations of multiple production branches
- Interview, hire and train Division Managers and motivate all associates to achieve production goals
- Actively participate in the company’s strategic planning
- Set measurable and achievable goals and objectives based on customer service standards
- Regularly meet with various company departments to ensure adherence to updated processes and guidelines
- Provide EVP with updates and information regarding production metrics and performance for all region branches
- Create and maintain a management succession plan and development plan for associates
- Ensure compliance with federal government regulations and corporate reporting requirements
- Maintain knowledge of loan programs and ensure the loan officers remain current
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years as a branch manager
- Minimum 5 - 6 years of application and processing experience or equivalent mortgage background
- Strong computer background with 5 to 6 years experience in mortgage software and working knowledge of Word for Windows and Excel
- Current knowledge of closing and title requirements
- Current knowledge of loan processing and automated underwriting systems
- Current knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA and industry underwriting guidelines
- Current knowledge of self-employed borrowers, partnership and corporation tax return analysis
- Valid driver's license and transportation
