About the role

• SOE Engineer responsible for planning, developing, testing, and deploying Windows 11 SOE across the enterprise. Collaborating with infrastructure teams to meet security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in planning, developing, testing, and deploying a Windows 11 Standard Operating Environment (SOE) across the enterprise.
• Ensure a smooth transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11, aligning with organizational security, compliance, and performance standards.
• Design, build, and maintain the Windows 11 System Optimisation (SOE) image using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure SOE compliance with organizational policies.
• Conduct pilot deployments and gather feedback to refine the SOE.
• Document SOE configurations, deployment procedures, and support guides.
• Participate in change management and risk assessment processes, ensuring that all changes to the SOE are managed effectively and potential risks are identified and mitigated.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SOE engineering and desktop deployment projects.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 architecture and deployment methodologies.
• Proficiency with MECM/SCCM, Intune, PowerShell scripting, and Group Policy.
• Experience with application packaging and compatibility testing.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and enterprise security standards.
• Must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV-1 or NV-2 AGSVA security clearance.
