- Participate in the full software development lifecycle
- Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application

- Build software solutions considering the customer first
- Mentor other engineers in the art of building complex systems
- Resolve roadblocks for the development team
- Plan and estimate development tasks and improve performance metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience
- US Citizen with at least an active Secret clearance or higher
- Hands-on expertise with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
- Strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON, and JavaScript
- Proficiency with web application technologies, such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, etc.
- Experience serving as a technical lead
- Deep understanding of software design patterns
- Working knowledge of Agile Development and continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies
- Experience with Git and Jira
- Proficiency with multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows, LINUX)
- Proficiency with at least one RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint)
