About the role

  • Launch Engineer leading new program introductions from planning through execution in the automotive industry. Ensuring operational readiness and managing cross-functional team coordination for project launches.

Responsibilities

  • Leading new program introductions from planning through execution
  • Ensuring seamless coordination across cross‑functional teams
  • Driving operational readiness and managing project timelines
  • Ensuring all launch activities meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Develop the Program/Project schedule
  • Demonstrate leadership during program launch
  • Configure the LPMP system for all new program launches
  • Collaborate with SSD/CFD teams to address deliverables, tasks, and open issues
  • Support program launches and trial waves
  • Manage project budget and analyze cash impact, excess, and obsolete materials for end-of-life projects
  • Actively collaborate to achieve and maintain certifications (IATF/VDA)

Requirements

  • Engineer or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to plan and track project activities
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of working within cross-functional teams and matrix structures
  • Successful experience in team management
  • Proficiency in MS Project
  • Good communication skills in both French and English.
