About the role
- Injection Industrial Engineer responsible for molding processes, quality production, and stakeholder coordination at Lear Corporation. Focusing on project management and technical oversight.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical activities of the project related to the injection tools design, validation and industrialization
- Ensure coordination between the various internal and external stakeholders
- Approve and Resolve issues related to the tool design (DFMs)
- Responsible for the production and follow up of pre-serial parts
- Be the main technical contact in front of the program managers
- Prepare the RFQ’s (Technical calculations) for the new projects
- Prepare and present project industrialization progress reports
- Ensure the correct planning and execution of OTOP and R@R activities
- Ensure the availability of all needed data and documentations for internal and external stakeholders (BOM, Master data, capacity study, PFMEA…)
- Support the order of new production equipment and tools
- Ensure the correct implementation of the change management procedure
- Ensure a correct spent of the CAPEX and launch OPEX for the project under his responsibility
- Support a smooth conduct of the various Audits (Internal, External, etc.)
Requirements
- Engineer degree: Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Plastic & Industrial Processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical project management or process engineering in the automotive sector
- Experience in the plastic injection sector will be an advantage
- Good Knowledge of project milestones and project industrialization
- Good knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, APQP, PPAP)
- Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
