Senior Financial Analyst based in Costa Rica supporting financial planning for Power & Water Solutions. Collaborating with the Global Financial Planning team and Management.
About the role
- Financial Analyst handling contract reviews and database management for finance at LeapXpert. Focused on optimizing financial processes and collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze hundreds of customer and vendor contracts, extracting key financial and operational terms (e.g., payment terms, renewal clauses, pricing, termination provisions).
- Build and maintain a structured contract database in Excel to support downstream use within NetSuite.
- Support the Finance and Accounting team with short-term projects including reconciliations, reporting, and process documentation.
- Ensure contract data is accurately captured, standardized, and usable for reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, and Operations) to clarify terms and resolve ambiguities.
- Provide ad hoc support on finance and accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, contract review, or related roles.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting concepts and financial processes.
- Proven experience reviewing complex commercial contracts and extracting key terms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis).
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle high-volume work efficiently.
