Finance Business Partner leading cost control and capital expenditure planning for Product and Tech divisions. Building relationships and providing financial insight to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Partner with department leads to monitor and control operating expenses.
Provide monthly cost centre reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights.
Support month end processes with accounting team.
Work with FP&A to produce cost Budgets and forecasts.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support efficiency initiatives.
Involvement in efficiency savings and integration of acquisitions from a cost perspective.
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of capital expenditure projects.
Evaluate business cases and ROI for proposed investments.
Ensure compliance with capital governance policies and accounting standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, translating financial data into strategic guidance.
Support procurement and contract negotiations with financial analysis and risk assessment.
Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and commentary.
Drive automation and standardisation of cost and CAPEX reporting.
Requirements
5+ years relevant experience, with solid knowledge of:
Cost control governance and ROI
CAPEX and Project reporting
Building Business cases
Budgeting & Forecasting
Excel modelling and financial reporting
SaaS/recurring revenue models
High attention to detail; works accurately and quickly and has good organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to set and meet deadlines including ability to manage multiple tasks to completion at the same time.
A strong desire to keep learning new things.
