About the role

  • Financial Specialist at La Moda conducting monthly management closings and analyzing performance variances. Supporting decision making with strategic insights and developing management reports.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the monthly management close and consolidate actual results, ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Analyze performance variances (actual vs. budget), identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actions.
  • Conduct analyses of financial and accounting statements to support management.
  • Develop dashboards and management reports, delivering relevant information for decision-making.
  • Support business area budgeting and budget control, ensuring strategic alignment and financial efficiency.
  • Calculate, develop and manage Working Capital metrics (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory and Taxes).
  • Prepare bimonthly reports on actions and results related to Working Capital.
  • Produce Working Capital projections together with relevant areas, supporting the creation of action plans to correct deviations and improve results.
  • Participate in meetings with business areas, providing financial and strategic perspectives.
  • Influence decisions based on well-founded data, analyses and financial scenarios.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses, ROI assessments and business cases to support strategic decisions and resource allocation.
  • Structure and monitor KPIs and controls to measure the impact of financial projects, ensuring effectiveness and positive outcomes.
  • Explore artificial intelligence solutions for automating financial processes and generating insights.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields.
  • Knowledge of accounting, finance and controllership.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for analyzing and manipulating large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a significant plus.
  • Strong analytical capability to generate financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Communication skills to interact with multiple areas of the organization and translate financial information clearly.
  • Experience building and managing financial dashboards and reports in Power BI.
