About the role
- Senior Accountant maintaining financial records and collaborating with teams in the infrastructure sector. Executing month-end close procedures and financial reporting for Accenture's Infrastructure & Capital Projects.
Responsibilities
- You'll maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- You'll collaborate across the accounting & finance team to meet reporting requirements and deadlines.
- You'll complete month-end close procedures, including monthly balance sheet reconciliation of sub ledgers to general ledger, booking all monthly accruals, and detailed balance sheet account analysis.
- You'll proactively schedule and post/process journal entries.
- You'll review General Ledger activity weekly and communicate/remediate any errors.
- You'll prepare Ad-hoc reports and financial data.
- You'll become proficient in the ERP system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or related field
- Two to five years of experience as a Staff Accountant or above
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong account analysis and research skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, with a focus in Excel
