About the role

  • Trial Attorney leading litigation department at L.A. Injury Attorneys in personal injury law. Supervising legal teams and representing clients in court with flexible work options.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and overseeing the progression of all litigated cases in the firm from filing to trial/settlement
  • Working in conjunction with the partner, associate, and support staff
  • Conducting legal research, analyzing complex legal issues, and providing guidance and direction to staff and clients
  • Meeting with clients in-person, attending depositions, court hearings, and trials
  • Preparing briefs, motions, and other legal documents
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate client records
  • Supervising paralegals and administrative assistants

Requirements

  • 5+ years of personal injury law experience
  • Licensed to practice law in California, in both state and federal courts
  • Possess a valid driver's license, have own transportation, and be able to travel throughout the state to attend court hearings and trials
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
