ENTRY LEVEL Substance Use Therapist providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment at EMPACT. Facilitating various groups and utilizing community resources for substance abuse treatment.
Responsibilities
Provide psychotherapy for the purpose of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adults and their families.
Individualize these services to meet unique needs.
Facilitate IOP, SOP, & Aftercare groups using agency curriculum.
Utilize community resources and referrals to enhance and expand treatment.
Requirements
Master's Degree in marriage and family therapy, counseling, or social work REQUIRED.
AzBBHE Licensure is preferred.
Experience facilitating groups required.
Families First program experience is preferred.
Must have experience working with substance abuse populations.
Must be willing to complete reports and be punctual in corresponding with DCS, probation and others.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills.
Must have good team collaboration skills.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License, with no major infractions in the past three years is required.
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
