About the role
- Lead Systems Engineer managing development and verification of missionized Gulfstream G550 systems. Collaborating with teams to ensure compliance and execution of engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the development, integration, test, and verification of systems for a missionized Gulfstream G550 platform
- Requirements development and management, technical risk identification, system design, system integration
- Verification and Validation (IV&V), civil and military certification
- Communicating with internal leadership, external subcontractors and customer teams
- Creating test plans and procedures, physically operating the system for testing
- Supporting technical publications by providing source data and reviewing manuals
- Performing hands-on testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems
- Understanding and supporting the aircraft certification process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- An active DoD Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship
- Demonstrated experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget
- Demonstrated experience understanding of engineering processes and policies
- Demonstrated experience in Aircraft Integration, Test and Delivery
- Ability to travel as needed based on business demands
