Responsibilities
Provides overall hands-on technical expertise in Hardware and RF Electrical Engineering for NS programs.
Recognized as an external and internal expert and thought leader with deep mastery and substantive technical expertise in hardware, RF Electrical, and ASIC design, development, test, and manufacturing as well as advanced business knowledge and leadership capabilities.
Expert hands-on knowledge of Electrical Engineering low frequency and high frequency (RF) Analog and Digital circuit and CCB design.
Ensures a cohesive team and trust within the Hardware Engineering Organization.
Communicates within and outside own function to explain and gains cooperation on policies and practices.
Makes substantial improvements to processes, systems, and solutions.
Plans and establishes goals and objectives for Hardware Engineering with direct impact on the short-term and long-term operational results.
Leads, directs, coaches, and reviews the work of Hardware Engineering personnel to accomplish near-term and long-term operational plans and results.
Works under consultative direction against annual goals and objectives to manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization.
Maintains outstanding communication with higher management and with the employees in the organization.
Collaborate with other business areas to execute programs and business development.
On-site in Anaheim, CA with potential travel up to 10% of the time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience or a Graduate degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
20+ years of experience in hands-on RF Electrical Engineering and Signal Processing Design, Development, Test, and Manufacturing for both Defense and Commercial Applications with experience with developing ASICS.
15+ years of experience in low and high frequency (RF) Analog and Digital circuit, CCB design, and ASIC architecture, simulation, emulation, power analysis, placement, routing, layout, and timing.
15+ years of experience in leading senior hardware engineering teams and hands-on detailed RF hardware engineering to successfully complete project objectives within stringent technical, schedule, and budget requirements.
15+ years of experience demonstrating strong verbal and written skills for both the internal team and with customers and program stakeholders.
Ability to obtain and hold a DoD SECRET clearance.
