About the role
- JDE Finance Consultant managing financial processes and compliance with local regulations in Belgium. Focus on JDE ERP, tax localization, and providing ongoing support to finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for finance processes within JDE.
- Design and configure JDE financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA) to meet business needs.
- Ensure accurate implementation of Belgium and France tax rules (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes, etc.) in JDE.
- Maintain compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and liaise with tax authorities when needed.
- Identify gaps and propose improvements in financial workflows.
- Support automation and standardization of tax-related processes across regions.
- Conduct system testing (UAT, SIT) for finance and tax configurations.
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support for JDE finance functionalities.
- Work closely with finance teams, IT developers, and external consultants to deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Finance Consultant with JD Edwards ERP.
- Proven expertise in Belgium and France tax regulations (VAT, Intrastat, fiscal reporting).
- Strong knowledge of JDE financial modules and localization features.
- Familiarity with European tax compliance tools and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- English (mandatory), French/Dutch (preferred).
