Responsibilities
Support with tax calculations in the context of annual financial statements
Work on ongoing project-specific topics across various tax areas (e.g., domestic and international income taxes, VAT, and transfer pricing)
Participate in the global implementation of a Tax Accounting System
Provide support for tax-related projects
Assist in preparing input VAT refund claims and VAT returns
Support in handling and responding to official enquiries (e.g., in connection with tax audits, withholding tax, or other tax matters)
Assist in fulfilling tax compliance obligations (e.g., participation in tax returns, preparation of tax filings pursuant to § 50a of the German Income Tax Act (EStG), preparation of tax-required documentation)
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Taxation or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on taxes or finance
Initial theoretical or practical knowledge in taxation and/or finance desirable
Very good German language skills (written and spoken); good English skills are an advantage
Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel
Methodical, reliable and able to work independently
High level of initiative and flexibility, and a strong team player
