About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing solutions for energy management on a smart platform. Working primarily with Python and Django to solve complexities in the energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Solve design challenges; domain modeling; solving technical problems; engineering solutions for smart meters
- Write robust fault-tolerant software primarily in Python and Django, Celery, and async processing
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary software engineering team
- Work on complicated, outdated, process-heavy energy market systems
- Participate in creating a smart, sustainable energy system and provide excellent customer experiences
Requirements
- Python (minimum 7 y.e.)
- Django (or equiv. web framework)
- Fluent in French, and level B2 at least in English
- Domain modelling
- HTTP and REST APIs
- Writing robust and fault-tolerant software
- Celery and async processing
- Postgres
- AWS as a plus
- Terraform, Packer, Consul as a plus
- React and Redux as a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience solving design challenges in the energy market.
