About the role

  • Software Developer developing and maintaining inspection technologies for pharma. Collaborating with teams to enhance automation frameworks and provide support globally.

Responsibilities

  • You develop new machine types and take responsibility for their subsequent support and maintenance within the team
  • You drive the further development of our modular, established standard framework
  • With foresight you design functional concepts in a flexible and future-oriented way
  • During the development phase you coordinate the implementation of requirements
  • To this end you work closely with colleagues and other departments
  • Your responsibilities also include establishing the configuration baseline
  • You analyze faults in existing machine programs and ensure their remediation
  • You document programs in accordance with GAMP guidelines
  • Occasional business trips to customer sites are also part of your role
  • Additionally, you train users worldwide and provide professional support

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering, control/automation engineering, or a related field — or equivalent vocational training
  • Knowledge of programming in Structured Text (IEC 61131-3)
  • PLC knowledge (preferably B&R)
  • Experience in developing automation software
  • Experience with JIRA, Subversion and Automation Studio is desirable
  • Independent, responsible and team-oriented working style
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Object-oriented and modular approach/understanding
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%)
