About the role
- Einkaufsreferent bei Koelnmesse steuert den strategischen Einkauf von Technikleistungen in Köln. Durchführung von Beschaffungsprojekten, Vertragsverhandlungen und Lieferantenmanagement.
Responsibilities
- Strategic procurement of goods and services, primarily in the technical area
- Independent handling of purchasing processes as well as execution and management of partly complex procurement projects from requirements definition to contract award, predominantly in the technical field
- Execution and management of public procurement/tendering procedures
- Close collaboration with internal departments, e.g. to determine requirements and prepare specifications/terms of reference
- Solicitation and evaluation of bids
- Leading negotiations and drafting contracts in coordination with Legal and relevant committees
- Conducting procurement market analyses and ongoing market monitoring
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Supplier management and handling of complaints/claims
Requirements
- University degree, preferably with a business or technical focus
- Procurement experience in the technical field
- Experience in leading projects / project management
- Assertiveness and strong negotiation skills
- Good conceptual and analytical abilities
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Business-fluent German (negotiation level)
- Ideally: experience with public procurement/tendering procedures
