About the role

  • Project Coordinator supporting the project management team for the world's largest games event, gamescom. Involved in various tasks, including marketing concept creation and project planning.

Responsibilities

  • Support the project management team, together with another Project Coordinator, on project-related tasks for gamescom
  • Develop the marketing concept, e.g., market and competitor research, presentations, etc.
  • Develop the medium-term plan and the project management plan
  • Internal project coordination as well as managing associations, market partners and key accounts
  • Correspondence, scheduling, travel expense reporting and office organization
  • Organize association and committee matters
  • Organize the service center during the event
  • Post-event follow-up, including billing/settlement for the trade fair
  • Create and prepare exhibitor lists and reports
  • Create and manage registration documents/forms/catalog content

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training
  • Several years of professional experience in a commercial/administrative role
  • Excellent MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint)
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong interest in digital and forward-looking topics
  • Subject matter and market expertise in the games industry is desirable
  • Knowledge of an additional European language
  • Good knowledge of SAP (ERP and BW/BI) as well as SAP Sales Cloud
