About the role

  • Strategic procurement of technical goods and services for the company while managing complex procurement projects. Collaborating closely with departments for effective resource allocation in the technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic procurement of goods and services, primarily in the technical field
  • Independent handling of procurement processes and management of partly complex procurement projects from requirements definition to contract award, predominantly in the technical area
  • Implementation and management of public procurement/tendering procedures
  • Close collaboration with business units, including determining requirements and preparing specifications
  • Requesting and evaluating offers/quotations
  • Leading negotiations and drafting contracts in coordination with Legal and relevant committees
  • Conducting procurement market analyses and ongoing market monitoring
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies
  • Supplier management and handling of complaints/claims

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in business administration or a technical field
  • Procurement experience in the technical/engineering sector
  • Experience in project leadership
  • Assertiveness and strong negotiation skills
  • Good conceptual and analytical abilities
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Business-fluent German (negotiation-level)
  • Ideally, experience with public tendering/procurement procedures
