- Strategic procurement of technical goods and services for the company while managing complex procurement projects. Collaborating closely with departments for effective resource allocation in the technical field.
Responsibilities
- Strategic procurement of goods and services, primarily in the technical field
- Independent handling of procurement processes and management of partly complex procurement projects from requirements definition to contract award, predominantly in the technical area
- Implementation and management of public procurement/tendering procedures
- Close collaboration with business units, including determining requirements and preparing specifications
- Requesting and evaluating offers/quotations
- Leading negotiations and drafting contracts in coordination with Legal and relevant committees
- Conducting procurement market analyses and ongoing market monitoring
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Supplier management and handling of complaints/claims
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in business administration or a technical field
- Procurement experience in the technical/engineering sector
- Experience in project leadership
- Assertiveness and strong negotiation skills
- Good conceptual and analytical abilities
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Business-fluent German (negotiation-level)
- Ideally, experience with public tendering/procurement procedures
