About the role
- Windows Server Platform Engineer responsible for maintaining scalable infrastructure at Knauf. Focus on driving improvements across IT services while ensuring platform security and performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high-performance, fault-tolerant, secure, and scalable platform and infrastructure
- Drive architectural improvements and standardization across infrastructure environments
- Take responsibility for the overall engineering lifecycle, including design, implementation, and testing
- Implement security protocols and monitoring systems to ensure platform integrity, data protection, and risk reduction
- Develop and enhance automated processes for releasing new solutions into the live environment
- Develop and implement infrastructure solutions that improve system performance and security
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server management
- Strong analytical and OS-level troubleshooting skills
- Platform, automation, and security-first mindset
- Strong experience supporting Azure-based platforms and services
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, SCCM, and PowerShell scripting
- Proven experience in patch management including planning, deployment, validation, and rollback strategies
- Experience with managing client GPOs is a plus
- Experience contributing to or leading technical projects
