About the role
- Medical Technologist conducting diagnostic imaging procedures at Klinikum Bayreuth. Responsible for X-ray, CT, and MRI examinations while supporting radiologists and continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray and CT, mammography and MRI examinations).
- Work closely with radiologists and assist with fluoroscopy, angiography and interventional procedures.
- Rotate between imaging equipment and workstations, providing a varied range of responsibilities.
- Participate in weekly case meetings with physicians to review interesting cases and pursue ongoing, specialized professional development.
- Share on-call and standby duties on a rotating basis with colleagues; background and night shifts may be required alternatively.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a Medical Technologist for Radiology (MTR) (m/f/d).
- Possess current radiation protection (Strahlenschutz) certification.
- Experience in MRI and/or angiography is desirable.
- Service-oriented, highly self-motivated and flexible.
- Team player with a readiness to help and mutual support considered a matter of course.
