About the role
- Experienced finance professional responsible for complete accounting functions in Düsseldorf. Joining a growing medium-sized company with hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage day-to-day financial accounting
- Preparation of VAT advance returns
- Reconciliation and maintenance of general ledger accounts, open-item lists and subsidiary ledgers
- Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes
- Point of contact for tax advisors and auditors
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, ideally as a tax clerk, financial accountant or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in financial accounting
- Confident user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (alternatively DATEV)
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Structured, reliable and independent working style
