About the role
- Expert SAP BI / BW position in a global supply chain solutions company. Focus on SAP BI and Analytics architectures with collaborative internal customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing SAP BI and analytics architectures (including SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud) and advise internal customers on tailored, innovative SAP BI solutions
- Contribute to various enhancement and new development projects and plan and execute projects in the SAP BI / BW/4HANA / SAP Datasphere / SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) / BO / HANA or MS‑BI environment
- Provide day-to-day support, in particular monitoring data refresh processes and data quality
- Develop and implement analysis, architecture and implementation solutions using the latest SAP BI, BW/4HANA, Datasphere and SAC tools
- Run workshops with internal stakeholders, capture and evaluate business requirements and take ownership of work packages
- Take responsibility for data integration, data modeling and reporting in BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere and SAC, and identify and implement optimization potential within the relevant module and process areas
Requirements
- Completed degree in (business) informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification
- Several years of consulting and project experience focusing on business intelligence and analytics architectures, ideally with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), HANA, MS‑BI or Azure Cloud
- Solid expertise in data extraction, data modeling and reporting, particularly in the SAP analytics environment
- Knowledge of ABAP, HANA Script and/or Java is desirable
- Experience with SAP HANA‑based architectures and cloud solutions (e.g. SAP BTP) is an advantage
- Strong interest in learning new technologies such as SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud and in modern analytics concepts
- Structured working style, analytical and conceptual thinking, and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Ability to plan and organize your own work effectively
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, confident presence and flexible willingness to travel
