About the role
- Facility Specialist overseeing engineering operations across 20 manufacturing sites globally for a sustainable future. Ensuring compliance, safety, and efficiency in building and utility infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Holistic support for approximately 20 production sites worldwide in all matters related to building, infrastructure and utilities engineering
- Ensuring safety, compliance and fire protection in accordance with FM Global, ISO standards and local regulations
- Technical review and support for capital expenditure, refurbishment and renovation projects
- Conducting building and equipment audits as well as lifecycle and condition assessments
- Supporting sites with infrastructure upgrades and major maintenance activities
- Analysis and optimization of infrastructure and service costs (e.g. energy, space, services)
- Regular international travel to manage and support global sites
Requirements
- Degree in a technical field (e.g., civil engineering, building services/MEP, mechanical engineering) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally in building services or facility engineering
- Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical installations and technical infrastructure
- Experience with CAD/BIM (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is an advantage
- Excellent English skills; accustomed to international collaboration
