Responsibilities
You'll become part of a highly respected team, who work across a wide range of projects and markets.
Your role will vary depending on skills and experience, but would typically include leading the delivery of projects and providing technical oversight covering:
Structural verification and code assessments (e.g., Eurocode, ASCE, AISC), through software and hand calculations
Hazard assessment (e.g. seismic, blast, and fire performance modelling) and validation studies
Concept design and feasibility analysis
Civil/mechanical/electrical interface definition and integration
Beyond-code assessments and safety case development
Groundworks and geotechnical assessment
Decommissioning and enabling works support
Structural inspections and regulatory compliance
Lifecycle extension studies, including degradation mechanism analysis
Lead and shape projects, including managing projects from scoping to delivery
Engage directly with clients to define project needs and opportunities, and develop long-term relationships
Contribute to the direction and development of our team’s capability, including mentoring junior engineers
Requirements
Chartership or higher with a professional institution such as ICE or IStructE or a related discipline
Experience of working on technically challenging, safety-critical infrastructure projects
Experience with client-facing consultancy work, with a network aligned to your specialism
A collaborative growth mindset and willingness to work across disciplines and mentor junior team members
