About the role

  • Nuclear Engineer Summer Internship at Frazer-Nash supporting projects in the civil nuclear sector. Work includes delivering projects from design to decommissioning at various UK locations.

Responsibilities

  • Support for generating stations and delivery of defueling and decommissioning
  • Involvement in delivery of projects from component to system level
  • Support design or modification engineering decision-making processes
  • Assess the integrity of nuclear power station equipment
  • Identify risks and provide mitigation solutions
  • Data analysis and business case development

Requirements

  • On track to obtain a 2:1 degree or higher (or equivalent/experience) with a related Engineering or relevant scientific bias.
  • Open-minded systems thinker with a curious, collaborative, and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work well in both a team environment and on your own initiative.
  • Candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
