Operational Technology Project Engineer coordinating project deployment plans and timelines for enterprise-level technology operations. Managing teams and documentation in manufacturing environments with continuous operations.
Responsibilities
Create and coordinate project deployment plans, timelines, and budgets
Inform site management of project impacts
Prepare training documents for operators and vendors
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
Conduct equipment inventory
Evaluate site discovery findings and build site VLAN structures
Assign new IP addresses and create updated network diagrams
Prepare and present designs for Architecture Review Committee
Raise policy exception and risk acceptance tickets
Provide support and training for site personnel and vendors after cutover is completed
Install and configure security tools as needed
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and practices
Finalize As-Built documentation
Understand technical aspects of projects to effectively manage and communicate with technical teams
Primary technical design decision maker and informing leadership of decisions made
Requirements
Minimum of Associates Degree in a technical area (computer science, networking, engineering, Automation, Electrical etc.), Bachelor’s Degree preferred
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level technology operations and services, network-specific preferred
5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments with a 24/7 operating requirement
Highly motivated, self-starters comfortable working in a cross-functional global team
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and succeed in an environment of competing priorities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment; willingness to learn new skills and take direction from other team members; ability to organize information and manage time efficiently
Expected travel 50%.
