About the role
- Training as an Operationstechnical Assistant (OTA) in a reliable healthcare environment focused on surgeries and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and post-processing of the operating theatre
- Planning, preparation and execution of upcoming surgeries, including providing the required instruments, devices and consumables
- Instrument handling during operations across all medical departments
- Preparation and maintenance of medical instruments, equipment and materials
- Patient documentation
- Proper positioning and handling of patients before and during surgery
- Caring for patients while considering their physical and psychological condition before, during and after surgery
Requirements
- Secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent, or a Hauptschulabschluss with at least two years of completed vocational training
- Proof of German language proficiency at level B2
- Minimum age: 18 years
