About the role
- Backend / Algorithmic Engineer developing and implementing software solutions for Stuttgart-based 3D printing startup. Collaborating with teams to enhance processes and product development.
Responsibilities
- You develop and implement software solutions ranging from the BIM import of a building model to path planning for printing
- You optimize existing services (Printability Check, slicer, path planning, etc.)
- You integrate your solutions into our service-oriented software architecture
- You provide interfaces for other team members
- You work closely with project teams to develop improvements to processes and products
- You collaborate closely with product owners and other internal departments, coordinating independently with them
- You maintain close contact with external development service providers
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification
- Solid knowledge of software development
- Very strong programming skills, ideally in Python
- Practical experience with algorithmic solution methods
- Experience with modern software development methods and tools
- Intrinsic motivation to acquire new skills and a high degree of initiative
- Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic team and strong communication skills
- Fluent German and English (business proficient)
