About the role
- Service Technician responsible for the maintenance and installation of security systems in Germany. Working with modern IT equipment and fully equipped service vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform maintenance and minor installations of security systems (e.g., fire alarm systems, intruder alarm systems, video surveillance, etc.)
- Process and document small service orders
- Carry out maintenance, service tasks, and minor installations
- Professionally diagnose and rectify faults
- Instruct and train operating personnel and customers
Requirements
- Completed training in an electrotechnical field (e.g., information technology, telecommunications engineering, communications technology) or several years of equivalent professional experience in security alarm technology
- Knowledge of relevant standards (VDE, DIN, VdS)
- German language skills at B1 level and good English skills
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a customer-oriented mindset
- Motivation and willingness to perform
- Confident user of MS Office
- Willingness to travel within the Germering area and surrounding region
