About the role

  • Functional Deployment Lead responsible for global deployment of order management processes within Johnson & Johnson. Leading a team and ensuring compliance in a GxP-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global deployment of Customer Excellence processes, including order management between Manufacturing and commercial systems.
  • Lead solution confirmation with Global Template Owners, ensuring adherence to approved global designs and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Customer Excellence solutions follow SAP Clean Core principles and avoid unnecessary custom development.
  • Directly manage functional SMEs and analysts, owning workload planning, prioritization, and quality of deliverables.
  • Provide functional leadership and coaching across the domain.
  • Act as the primary functional escalation point within Transcend deployments.
  • Have Global and Business focus and mindset with sound reasoning in all activities including managing escalation of issues and business risks, developing solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee functional design validation, configuration reviews, and integration readiness.
  • Lead functional execution during testing phases and support validation activities in alignment with GxP and SDLC expectations.
  • Own functional support during hypercare, ensuring stable operations and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with other Functional Deployment Leads to ensure end-to-end process integration.
  • Partner with IT, system integrators, validation, and change management teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of six years of professional experience required.
  • University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or business discipline.
  • Strong functional expertise within the relevant domain in a GxP-regulated environment.
  • Proven people management experience with accountability for functional delivery.
  • Hands-on capability with SAP S/4HANA processes relevant to the domain.
  • Business knowledge of areas such as Supply Chain, Operations, Collections, Sales & Marketing, e-Commerce required.
  • Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates required.
  • People management and ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment required.
  • Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders required.
  • Ability to effectively lead and govern functional decision-making bodies required.
