- Develop stored procedures, views, and functions to support BI reporting needs.
- Build SSRS/Paginated Reports to deliver detailed, print-friendly reports for operational needs.
- Ensure reports meet business requirements and align with organizational standards.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to support BI initiatives and resolve data-related issues.
- Provide guidance on best practices in data modeling and visualization.
- Leverage tools like Databricks SQL (if applicable) for advanced querying and analytics use cases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in BI development, data modeling, and reporting.
- Expertise in Azure SQL , Power BI Premium , DAX , and T-SQL .
- Strong proficiency in data warehouse design (e.g., star schema).
- Hands-on experience in creating complex reports using SSRS or Paginated Reports .
- Proficient in querying and analyzing data from large-scale data warehouses.
- Ability to design user-friendly, scalable, and performant data models in Power BI.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and how they impact data warehouse performance.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Databricks SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with Power BI Premium features such as dataflows, incremental refresh, and large datasets.
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
