Responsibilities
- Set up and operate lab instrumentation for test development of mixed-signal application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs)
- Support senior ASIC engineers in execution of ASIC verification and testing
- Build software and hardware for efficient testing and data processing
Requirements
- At least two years of college education in electrical engineering OR computer engineering OR computer science with a background in electrical/computer engineering
- Familiarity with programming languages, such as C, C#, or Visual Basic
- Familiarity with lab equipment, such as DMMs, power supplies, power generators, and oscilloscopes
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proactive in acquiring new skills and expanding technical knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred: Strong familiarity with PCBA concepts, such as reading schematics, layout, and manufacturing techniques
- Preferred: Familiarity with signal integrity concepts, such as S-parameters, TDR, and impedance
