About the role

  • Intern supporting engineering team in project development and monitoring tasks, assisting with documentation and project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the engineering team in developing and monitoring low-complexity projects
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Support planning and tracking of project schedules
  • Assist with coordination and interface with internal departments (maintenance, production, quality, procurement, etc.)
  • Attend field activities and monitor project status updates
  • Organize and maintain records, reports, and performance indicators
  • Participate in technical meetings and support the preparation of materials
  • Contribute suggestions for continuous improvement of departmental processes

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Civil or related fields)
  • Minimum remaining time to graduation: 2–3 years (4–6 semesters)
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment or prior internships (asset)
  • Knowledge of project management (asset)
  • Participation in academic projects or undergraduate research (asset)
