Responsibilities
Support the delivery of activities underpinning the Information Governance Framework.
Provide support for Freedom of Information requests and advise colleagues on obligations.
Support preparatory work for transferring funding and delivery of training programmes.
Advise on Information Governance issues, risks, and legislative requirements.
Support compliance with information security and information management.
Develop positive relationships with stakeholders and internal partners.
Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing regarding information management.
Manage competing demands and legislative deadlines efficiently.
Requirements
Experience of working within information management and supporting data protection and information governance.
Good understanding of information management and governance in the public sector.
Awareness of connections between various legislations and implications for information governance.
Ability to manage workload effectively with competing priorities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to reach reliable judgements based on complex information.
Experience of developing and managing key stakeholder relationships.
Ability to develop training and guidance appropriate for non-specialists.
Qualified to SCQF Level 9 (Degree) or equivalent experience.
Experience of using Microsoft systems to support records management requirements (desirable).
