About the role

  • Engineering Manager leading a multidisciplinary team in a fast-growing fintech scale-up. Focusing on SaaS platforms and driving technical excellence across software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop software engineers (career development plans, 1:1s, SMART objectives/OKRs)
  • Drive technical hiring and support onboarding
  • Challenge the architecture and ensure scalability, performance and security
  • Structure and optimize DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews)
  • Collaborate with Product, UX/UI and Data teams to translate business needs into a technical roadmap

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (engineering school or equivalent)
  • 6 to 10 years of software development experience
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in management or technical lead roles
  • Proficiency in at least two languages among JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Python
  • Experience designing architectures for complex, cloud-based systems
  • Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD
  • Empathetic leadership with the ability to unite teams and provide structure
  • Experience in a regulated environment is a plus
