About the role
- Engineering Manager leading a multidisciplinary team in a fast-growing fintech scale-up. Focusing on SaaS platforms and driving technical excellence across software engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop software engineers (career development plans, 1:1s, SMART objectives/OKRs)
- Drive technical hiring and support onboarding
- Challenge the architecture and ensure scalability, performance and security
- Structure and optimize DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews)
- Collaborate with Product, UX/UI and Data teams to translate business needs into a technical roadmap
Requirements
- Master’s degree (engineering school or equivalent)
- 6 to 10 years of software development experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in management or technical lead roles
- Proficiency in at least two languages among JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Python
- Experience designing architectures for complex, cloud-based systems
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD
- Empathetic leadership with the ability to unite teams and provide structure
- Experience in a regulated environment is a plus
